The Rajasthan edition of the “Tech Saksham” workshop was successfully conducted at the Rajasthan International Centre, Jaipur, under the Digital Excellence Programme of the Government of India.
Organized by National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, the workshop aimed to strengthen digital governance and build institutional capacity in emerging technologies.
The workshop was graced by Prof. N. P. Padhy, Director, MNIT Jaipur, as the Guest of Honour, alongside distinguished government officials, including Shri V. Srinivas, IAS, Chief Secretary of Rajasthan, and Shri Rajeev Kumar Sharma, IAS, DGP of Rajasthan.
The event brought together senior government officials, academic leaders, industry professionals, and technology experts to discuss the growing role of Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity in public administration.
The interactive sessions focused on the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, data security, cybersecurity, and the development of secure and citizen-centric digital services. The discussions also highlighted the importance of strengthening technological capabilities within government institutions to support efficient and reliable digital transformation.
The Tech Saksham initiative provides a valuable platform for bringing together government, academia, and industry to exchange knowledge, share expertise, and explore practical approaches for leveraging emerging technologies to improve public services.
The participation of Prof. N. P. Padhy as Guest of Honour added an academic and technological perspective to the event, supporting the broader objective of encouraging collaboration between educational institutions, government organizations, and technology experts.
The workshop highlighted the importance of continued collaboration and knowledge sharing in building a secure, innovative, and digitally empowered governance ecosystem across Rajasthan and India.
